Due to the pandemic of COVID-19 in the world, we need to arrange our normal international workshop and we came to the conclusion to organize the 8^th workshop on the Water Rescue and Survival Research (Uitemate 2020) ONLINE. There will be eight wonderful presenters from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Thailand. 

 

“Uitemate” is an important motto to help survive sudden water accidents. When a person encounters a water related incident, it is vital to keep the air-way free by floating on their back (uite) and waiting for a rescuer to come to their assistance (mate).

Uitemate challenges the current thought of water rescue to where the victim plays the leading role, not rescuer.

You can join the conference for FREE. Also you DO NOT have to be a member of this society to join Uitemate 2020. ANYONE who has different background and nationality can join this workshop, too!
